Warm Temperatures and Isolated Showers

Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia are set to experience a fair-ly warm day with highs reaching the 80s across inland areas. Coastal regions will see temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s.

Afternoon Shower Potential

Rising temperatures combined with sea breeze convergence may trigger isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Despite the potential for brief showers, conditions are expected to remain generally favorable.

Fair Weather for the Clay County Fair

The forecast indicates that the fair will go on as planned! Sunscreen, hats, and staying hydrated will be important for attendees enjoying the opening day of the Clay County Fair.

Looking Ahead: Easter Weekend & Cooling Trend

The warm weather is expected to persist through the beginning of the Easter weekend. However, the chance of afternoon storms will increase by late Sunday as a spring cold front approaches.

Temperatures are forecast to drop to normal or below normal levels beginning next week.

Drought Conditions Remain

Extreme and exceptional drought conditions continue to impact the region. An updated drought map is scheduled for release today, but significant changes are not anticipated due to the recent lack of rainfall.
