Headlines Orbit publishes original editorial content together with summaries of publicly available news stories. Some summaries are prepared with the assistance of artificial intelligence (large language models) and then reviewed and edited by our editorial team. Each article that relies on a third-party source attributes that source and links to the original publication.

2. Editorial Approach and AI Disclosure

We aim for accurate, well-attributed coverage. To be transparent about how content is produced:

• Articles that include AI-assisted summaries are clearly labelled.
• Editorial judgment, fact-checking, and final publication decisions are made by human editors.
• Where an article relies on a primary source, that source is named and linked from the article.
• Errors are corrected promptly when brought to our attention; see Section 6.

3. User Accounts and Comments

Posting a comment requires signing in with a Google account. By signing in, you authorize us to receive the information described in our Privacy Policy and you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for the content of comments posted from your account.
• Comments must comply with applicable law. Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, spam, doxxing, advertising, illegal content, and impersonation are prohibited.
• We may remove or edit comments and suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and moderate your comments as part of the Website.

4. HOpoints

HOpoints is a free, non-monetary loyalty system used to recognise reader engagement. Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be adjusted, suspended, or removed at our discretion to address abuse or system errors. We may modify or discontinue the HOpoints program at any time without liability.

5. Intellectual Property

• The Headlines Orbit name, logo, editorial commentary, layout, and original articles are protected by copyright and trademark law.
• News content originally published elsewhere remains the property of the respective publishers and is presented here for commentary, criticism, and reporting purposes consistent with applicable fair-use / fair-dealing standards.
• You may share links to our articles freely. Quoting brief excerpts for personal or journalistic use is permitted with attribution and a link back to the article on our site.
• Bulk reproduction, automated scraping, framing, or republishing of our content without written permission is prohibited.

6. Corrections and Takedown Requests

If you believe an article contains a factual error, misattribution, or infringes your rights:

• For corrections, email info@headlinesorbit.com with the article URL and a description of the issue.
• For copyright or DMCA notices, email abuse@headlinesorbit.com with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) (or the equivalent under your jurisdiction).

We will review and respond to legitimate requests promptly.

7. Advertising

Headlines Orbit is supported by advertising, primarily through Google AdSense. Editorial content is independent of advertising. We do not allow advertisers to dictate, review, or pre-approve our coverage. Ad placements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content.

Articles link to third-party websites, including original news sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of those sites.

9. Disclaimers

The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Headlines Orbit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Website is limited to USD 100.
