Three Women Removed from Frontier Flight Following Luggage Dispute

A dispute over baggage fees escalated dramatically at Miami International Airport on Sunday night, leading to the arrest of three women. The incident involved Frontier Airlines flight F9-1204, scheduled to depart for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Deputies were called after gate staff noticed the women, identified as Nafisa Dockery (30), Davana Cochran (26), and Dionjana Cochran (21), possessed two carry-on bags when only one had been paid for.

Forcing Boarding and Resisting Removal

Following an argument at the gate, Dockery allegedly instructed the other two to disregard the employee and proceed onto the aircraft. The trio reportedly went through a restricted doorway and boarded the plane without authorization.

Frontier Airlines subsequently informed deputies that the women could not fly and requested their removal from the aircraft. When the women refused multiple orders to deplane, law enforcement was forced to clear the plane.

Arrests and Aftermath

The situation concluded with a brief struggle outside the plane after the women exited. Dockery was specifically accused of spitting on an individual as they were leaving the aircraft.

All three women were taken into custody and transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Authorities reported that the disruption caused a delay to the flight schedule lasting approximately one hour.
