Thousands of high school, collegiate, and professional athletes are participating in the Relays, which are being held at Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium. The competition draws participants from across Texas and the nation.
Road Closures and Parking Information
The City of Austin has announced road closures beginning at 4 a.m. Wednesday and lasting until midnight on Saturday. Affected areas include Clyde Littlefield Drive, from Robert Dedman Drive to Red River Street.

A Historic Tradition
The Texas Relays were first established in 1925 by University of Texas coach Clyde Littlefield and athletic director Theo Bellmont. According to The Daily Texan, UT’s student newspaper, the event is now the second-largest track meet in the United States.
