The video, originally posted on Instagram by @hussein_pepe96, an Iraqi sports commentator, depicts a group of Iraqi fans displaying a banner with Arabic and Spanish writing. The fans were singing and waving their arms when a man approached them, repeatedly shouting, “You’re in America.” He then yelled, “Don’t come to America.”
Escalating Confrontation
The situation quickly escalated into a chaotic exchange of shouts. The Iraqi supporters responded, stating, “It’s a game,” and “It’s a football game, sir,” with one fan adding, “This is not right.” Expletives were also audible during the confrontation.
