News 5's Dog of the Day: Meet Groot!
Good Morning Cleveland viewers are being introduced to Groot, a charming retriever who has been named News 5’s Dog of the Day. His owner, Lisa Dinnin, shared a delightful photo of the pup with the station.
A Retriever's Delight
Groot is a typical retriever, enthusiastically bringing anything he can find to his humans – especially sticks! Despite his love for fetching, he’s remarkably gentle with his toys, never destroying them. His absolute favorite treat, however, is a slice of pepperoni, affectionately dubbed “pupperoni” by his family.
Dog Walking Forecast: Prepare for Rain
The severe storms have passed through Northeast Ohio (NEO), but the rain remains. News 5’s weather team predicts on-and-off chilly rain throughout the day. Dog owners should be prepared for potentially soggy and chilly walks.
