Sincere Brown Shines at Colorado Pro Day
Former Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Sincere Brown made a significant impression during the team's annual pro day on Tuesday. While several former players participated in the event, it was Brown's performance in the 40-yard dash that captured the most attention from scouts and observers.
Consistent Speed on Display
During the 40-yard dash, Brown completed two attempts to demonstrate his athleticism. His first run resulted in an unofficial time of 4.38 seconds, a mark that would have placed him among the top 10 fastest receivers at the NFL Scouting Combine. He followed that up with a consistent unofficial time of 4.39 seconds on his second attempt.
A Journey Through College Football
Brown's path to the Colorado Buffaloes was unconventional. He began his collegiate career with the USF Bulls from 2020 to 2022, recording only one catch for 19 yards. He subsequently moved to the FCS level to play for the Campbell Fighting Camels.
After a quiet 2023 season, Brown experienced a breakout campaign in 2024. He hauled in 61 receptions for 1,028 yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 16.9 yards per catch. This production set the stage for his 2025 season in Boulder, where he recorded 22 receptions for 376 yards and two touchdowns.
Impact at Colorado
Despite offensive struggles and inconsistent quarterback play during the 2025 season, Brown remained a reliable target. He utilized his 6-5 frame and speed to create explosive plays, including a season-long 71-yard reception. Notable performances included a 120-yard game against Delaware and 68 yards against Wyoming.
NFL Draft Outlook
While current projections suggest Brown may go undrafted, his physical tools remain a point of interest for NFL teams. His combination of elite speed and size makes him a potential candidate for teams looking to add depth as an undrafted free agent. Brown is currently focused on securing an opportunity to prove his worth at the professional level.
