On Monday, the 37-year-old "High School Musical" star took to Instagram Stories to share her experience with shedding hair. She posted a photo showing loose strands collected in her palm with the caption, "And so it begins."

Despite the hair loss, Hudgens maintained a positive outlook. She followed up with a selfie, telling her followers, "Having a great hair day even with my hair loss lol."

Welcoming Baby Number Two

Hudgens and her husband, professional basketball player Cole Tucker, welcomed their second child late last year. The actress had previously announced the birth with a hospital photo, captioning it, "Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!" She also reflected on the experience, noting, "What a wild ride labor is."

The star concluded her initial announcement by giving a "big shout out to all the moms," emphasizing, "It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do."
