TuneCore Appoints Brian Miller to Top Business Role
TuneCore, a leading digital music distribution company, has announced the appointment of Brian Miller as its Chief Business Officer. The appointment formalizes Miller’s leadership, as he has been overseeing the company’s operations since January.
Transition Following Former CEO’s Shift
This move follows the announcement in January that Andreea Magrau was stepping aside from her role as CEO of TuneCore to transition into a strategic advisor role for parent company Believe. Miller’s appointment signifies a continuation of the company’s strategic direction under Believe’s guidance.
Miller’s Experience and Responsibilities
Prior to this appointment, Miller served as TuneCore’s Chief Revenue Officer for the past two years. In his expanded role as Chief Business Officer, Miller will concentrate on forging new strategic partnerships, broadening TuneCore’s global reach, and developing programs to better support artists and industry collaborators.
Believe Executive Highlights Miller’s Expertise
Believe’s global head of music stated, “His experience building and scaling businesses, along with his deep understanding of growth strategy, will play a critical role as we continue to expand TuneCore’s global ecosystem and create new opportunities for independent artists.”
Miller’s Vision for Independent Artists
“Since joining TuneCore two years ago, one thing has been made abundantly clear: independent artists are the central force shaping the future of the music industry,” Miller said in a statement. He emphasized TuneCore’s role in empowering artists to build and grow their careers while maintaining ownership of their rights.
Miller added, “I’m excited to step into this new role and lead the team as we continue to grow, launch new partnerships and expand our services to keep helping artists build sustainable careers.”
