Trump Calls for Boycott of Bruce Springsteen

Former President Donald Trump has called for a boycott of Bruce Springsteen’s concerts after the musician publicly criticized his administration. Trump made the call on his Truth Social platform, urging supporters to “SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.”

Springsteen’s Criticism of the Trump Administration

During a concert at the Target Center in Minneapolis on May 2025, Springsteen labeled the Trump administration as “corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous” to an audience of 18,000. He stated that American values were being challenged and criticized the administration’s foreign policy, calling the U.S. a “reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation.”

Accusations and Concerns

Springsteen further accused the administration of abandoning NATO and threatening allies. He stated, “You want to talk about snowflakes? We have a president who can’t handle the truth.” The musician also voiced concerns about the legality of ongoing wars and the risks faced by American service members.

Trump’s Response on Truth Social

Trump responded with a scathing post on Truth Social, referring to Springsteen as a “bad, and very boring singer” who “looks like a dried up prune” and suffers from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” He continued, calling Springsteen a “total loser” who “spews hate against a President.”

Call to Action

“MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK,” Trump wrote. He concluded his post with, “SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. AMERICA IS BACK!!!”
