The incident occurred after Woods’ SUV struck a trailer while attempting to pass a pickup truck on South Beach Road.
Details of the Crash and Arrest
Investigators reported observing multiple signs of impairment at the scene, including bloodshot and glassy eyes, dilated pupils, and lethargic movements. According to the affidavit, two hydrocodone pills were found in Woods’ pants pocket during his arrest. He was subsequently charged with misdemeanor DUI and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
