Investigation Launched into Dog Deaths on Guemes Island
The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is investigating the discovery of twelve deceased dogs found along the shoreline of Guemes Island, Washington. The unusual number of animal deaths has prompted a thorough investigation to determine the cause.

The first six dogs were discovered on March 26th, washing ashore on the island. Since then, deputies and Skagit County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Officer Diaz have located an additional five deceased dogs along the same stretch of shoreline.
