This comprehensive remaster includes systemic changes, enhanced graphics, and numerous improvements. Existing owners will receive the upgrade at no extra cost, along with both original expansions: Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine. Upgraded Visuals and PerformanceThe remaster features a significant visual overhaul. Non-playable characters look better, interior and exterior lighting has been reworked, and new environmental textures have been added. Major changes to foliage make areas feel more lush and alive.On PC, path tracing offers more realistic lighting that simulates rays of light, making a massive difference in visual quality.For PlayStation 5 Pro players, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) enables a smooth 60 frames per second with ray tracing turned on.Reimagined Skill System and CombatThe skill system has been reworked to provide brand-new abilities and easier, earlier access to high-level skills. Instead of spending points in tier-by-tier blocks, a more modern skill tree allows for efficient custom builds.Combat improvements include better animations and new finishers.
