Examples of Antisemitic Comments
The inclusion of the Star of David in the Blue Jays’ post appeared to further provoke some individuals. One X user wrote, “Star of david isn’t a jewish symbol from 3000 years ago its a zionist symbol from the early 1900’s you cucks.”
Other users expressed their displeasure with the post by stating they were no longer fans. One comment read, “Ewhh .. seeing this helped me get over that world series loss a lot quicker thank you! No longer a proud fan.” Another user exclaimed, “Blue Jays on the wrong side of history!” Some users also voiced their discontent through memes.

The Toronto Blue Jays were not alone in facing this type of response. Several other sports teams that extended Passover greetings also reported receiving similar anti-Israel and antisemitic comments in their respective comment sections.
