Skyway Apartment Shooting Leaves One Dead
Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at the Creston Point Apartments in Skyway, Washington, resulting in one fatality and one injury. The incident took place in the 13400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South.
Details of the Incident
King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies responded to a call at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7th. Upon arrival, they found a scene requiring extensive investigation. Parts of the apartment complex parking lot were secured with crime scene tape.
Multiple Detentions Made
Authorities have confirmed that several people were detained in connection with the shooting. Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and the involvement of those detained.

A tent was erected in the parking lot, typically indicating the presence of a body. KCSO Sergeant Ed Seratt stated the scene would likely remain active for several hours. “These things take a long time,” Seratt told KOMO News.

Sergeant Seratt explained the thoroughness of the investigation process. “Major crimes is very thorough; they have several detectives on scene, we have deputies on scene too. After major crimes goes through the scene, the medical examiner will be called out, and they're going to process it, it could be several hours.”
