‘The Copenhagen Test’ Coming to U.K. Viewers

Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera’s thriller series, ‘The Copenhagen Test,’ is set to air on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. The series, originally a Peacock Original, will bring a high-stakes espionage story to British audiences.

The Premise: A Brain Under Siege

The series follows Alexander Hale, an intelligence analyst portrayed by Liu. Hale discovers his brain has been hacked, granting unknown perpetrators complete access to his senses and thoughts. This leaves him in a precarious position, constantly monitored and manipulated.

A Race Against Time

According to a plot synopsis, Hale is “caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers.” He must maintain a convincing facade around the clock to identify those responsible and demonstrate his loyalty. The series promises a complex narrative filled with twists and turns.

Alongside Liu and Barrera, ‘The Copenhagen Test’ features Sinclair Daniel, Brian d’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant. The series is created by Thomas Brandon, who also serves as executive producer, writer, and co-showrunner.
