San Antonio Woman Faces Serious Charges

Destinee Alexis Flores, 24, of San Antonio, is facing charges related to the distribution of child sexual abuse material. The case originated in mid-March when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received a report from Snapchat.

Investigation Launched by Snapchat Report

Snapchat reported a user who had allegedly sent multiple files containing suspected child sexual abuse material. The report was immediately flagged as urgent due to the potential for ongoing risk to a child. Investigators quickly began tracing the account.

Account Linked to Destinee Flores

Investigators determined the Snapchat account was linked to Destinee Alexis Flores through phone numbers, email addresses, and a residence on Pleasanton Bluff on the South Side of San Antonio. Records connected the account activity to Flores’s online profiles and photos.

Evidence Found in Videos

The videos in question reportedly depict an adult woman and a very young child, believed to be between one and three years old. Investigators confirmed the same individuals appeared in all of the reported videos.

Surveillance and Further Evidence

Surveillance of Flores’s home revealed she was observed with a young child matching the description of the child in the videos. Additional subpoenas and search warrants confirmed the connection between the social media account, phone records, internet activity, and Flores.
