Samsung’s new 2024 Frame Pro and OLED TVs, first unveiled at CES earlier this year, are now available to order from Samsung and select retailers. The new models offer a range of sizes and features, catering to diverse consumer needs.
The Frame Pro: Artful Design with Enhanced Performance
The Frame Pro serves as the premium version of Samsung’s popular art-inspired television line. It boasts a Neo QLED panel with improved backlighting and compatibility with Samsung’s Wireless One Connect box, minimizing cable clutter.
Key Updates for 2024
- The Frame Pro is now available in a new 55-inch size.
- One Micro HDMI port now supports eARC for enhanced audio quality with soundbars.
- It retains a glare-free QLED panel and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz (or 240Hz when connected to a PC).
Pricing for available models includes $2,000 for the 65-inch, $2,800 for the 75-inch, and $4,000 for the 85-inch. Pricing and availability for the 55-inch model and the standard 2024 Frame have not yet been announced.
Samsung OLED TVs: Brighter, Sleeker, and More Immersive
Samsung’s OLED TV improvements are more substantial this year. The flagship S95H features a “FloatLayer Design” with a metal bezel, allowing for a flush wall mount and the option of a Wireless One Connect Box.
Advanced Features Across the OLED Lineup
Both the S95H and the S90H models include brighter OLED HDR Pro or OLED HDR+ displays, along with Samsung’s glare-free technology. These TVs are also compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, reducing screen tearing during gaming.
All 2024 OLED models utilize Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen 3 Processor for 4K upscaling and other AI-powered features. The S85H now comes in a 48-inch size as well.
