The Russian oil tanker, identified as the Anatoly Kolodkin, successfully docked at the Cuban port of Matanzas on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. This arrival marked the first delivery of oil to the island nation in three months.

The vessel carried a significant cargo, delivering approximately 730,000 barrels of crude oil. The docking was documented as the Russian-flagged tanker passed the Cuban vessel Vilma while approaching the port.

The shipment proceeded despite the existing energy blockade maintained by the United States. The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump permitted the tanker's passage.
