Nacua checked into the facility shortly before a lawsuit was filed by Madison Atiabi, a 24-year-old woman. His attorney, Levi McCathern, stated that the decision to enter rehab was not directly linked to the lawsuit, but acknowledged a confluence of factors.

“He was in there a substantial period of time before any of these allegations broke with Madison,” McCathern explained. “and he’s scheduled to be there for a while longer.” McCathern confirmed he has been in contact with Nacua and reports that the athlete is “in great spirits.”
