Oscar Isaac Exits A24 Vampire Project

Oscar Isaac has departed from the cast of the upcoming A24 vampire film, Flesh of the Gods, which stars Kristen Stewart. The project has quickly found a replacement, with Wagner Moura joining the ensemble.

Wagner Moura Joins the Cast

Wagner Moura, recently recognized with an Oscar nomination for his work in The Secret Agent, will assume Isaac’s role. Moura is well-known for his portrayal of Pablo Escobar in the series Narcos and for voicing the character of Death in the animated film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022).

Moura’s Recent and Upcoming Roles

Moura’s filmography also includes appearances in Elysium (2013), The Gray Man (2022), and Civil War (2024). He is currently voicing Brander Lawson in the upcoming Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, set to premiere within the week.
