Nickell said that her son was taking a helicopter ride to a house on a mountain top the next day to make music and TikToks with his friends. Tree's loved ones and fans celebrated his life with a quirky ceremony at the Quarry Amphitheater in Santa Cruz, California. The singer died in a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last month. He was just 32 years old.The other victims of the crash include passengers Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim, Lucas Brito Chaves, and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac. Two helicopters collided in the air while flying over an electric vehicle yard, CNN reported. At least 20 cars were set on fire from the collision after being hit at the crash site. Tree was visiting South America as part of his 'The World's First World Tour' at the time of his death.His parents posted on Instagram saying 'Our dear son Oliver, you made this world a better place. We are so proud of you. RIP.' They also announced that his legacy will live on through his foundation/endowment named 'Dr. Oliver Tree's Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses' coming soon
