Megan Thee Stallion was hospitalized Tuesday night after experiencing illness during a performance of ‘Moulin Rouge! The Musical’ at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.
Details of the Incident
According to a statement released by her representative, Didier Morais, Megan Thee Stallion began feeling unwell during the show. She was then promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation.
“During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated,” Morais stated. “We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.”

The Grammy Award-winning rapper made her Broadway debut last week, taking on the role of nightclub impresario Harold Zidler in the production. She was scheduled to conclude her limited run on May 17.

“Moulin Rouge! The Musical” is set to close on July 26 after a seven-year run. The musical is set in a turn-of-the-century Parisian nightclub and features a blend of classic and contemporary songs, including “Lady Marmalade,” “Single Ladies,” and “Firework.”
