Doctors diagnosed Megan Thee Stallion with extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction, and low metabolic levels, according to her spokesperson. The rapper shared her experience on Instagram, describing the incident as a “wake-up call.”

“Last night was a real wake-up call for me,” Megan Thee Stallion wrote on Instagram. She explained she had been “pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough.” She added, “It honestly scared me.”

The performance was briefly interrupted while officials addressed the audience and asked them to remain seated. An understudy completed the remainder of Tuesday night’s show. Megan Thee Stallion stated she “thought I was gonna faint on stage” and tried to continue, but was unable to.

Megan Thee Stallion was discharged from the hospital and is resting. She has taken Wednesday’s matinee and evening performances off to recuperate. She assured fans she would return to the stage on Thursday, stating, “I’ll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve.”

Megan Thee Stallion recently made her Broadway debut in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” taking on the role of Harold Zidler.
