Lithuanian gang member jailed for £300k car parts theft Osvaldas Ubarevicius, a member of an organised crime ring, has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for his role in the illicit trade of stolen car parts. The court heard how the 31-year-old was caught transporting a significant haul of stolen components, including parts from a Porsche Taycan, in a stolen van. The operation highlights the scale of car part theft and subsequent export by criminal syndicates. A Lithuanian gang member, Osvaldas Ubarevicius, 31, has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for handling over £300,000 worth of stolen car parts. Working for an organised crime network that dismantled high-value vehicles and exported their parts, Ubarevicius was arrested while driving a stolen van loaded with freshly stolen car components. Following his conviction at Winchester Crown Court for conspiracy to dishonestly receive stolen goods and possession of criminal property, he will be deported after serving his sentence.
