Lindsey Buckingham, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and former Fleetwood Mac guitarist, was involved in an incident in Santa Monica last Wednesday, March 25th.
Details of the Attack
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed the incident to The Hollywood Reporter. According to reports, a woman threw an “unknown substance” at Buckingham as he was arriving for an appointment.
Police Investigation
The LAPD’s Threat Management Unit is collaborating with the Santa Monica Police Department to investigate the attack. A statement from the LAPD indicated that no further details would be released at this time to maintain the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
Suspect Identified
Authorities have described the woman as a “stalking suspect” and stated that Buckingham is familiar with her due to previous incidents. The suspect’s identity has not been publicly released.
