Hulu has officially unveiled a first look at its upcoming original comedy series, "Alice and Steve." Produced by the team behind the Emmy-winning show Baby Reindeer, this six-episode series promises to flip the traditional rom-com genre on its head.
Plot Overview: Friendship and Betrayal
The series centers on the complicated dynamic between two longtime best friends whose relationship implodes under unexpected circumstances. The story begins when Steve starts dating Alice’s 26-year-old daughter, Izzy.
According to the official synopsis, Alice is devastated by the news, fearing she will lose both her best friend and her daughter simultaneously. As Alice attempts to sabotage the relationship, Steve prepares to fight back, transforming their perfect friendship into an all-out feud.
