About “You, Me & Tuscany”

“You, Me & Tuscany” is set to release on April 10th. The romantic comedy centers around Anna, a woman facing hardship after losing her job. She impulsively travels to a Tuscan villa owned by Matteo, a man she recently met.

A Story of Lies and Love

Anna decides to stay at Matteo’s villa without his knowledge, leading to a series of complications and a connection with Matteo’s cousin, Michael. As their feelings develop, Anna’s initial deception threatens their potential future. The film is directed by Kat Coiro and produced by Will Packer.

Bailey on Embracing Adulthood and Black Love

“I am in my very grown woman era,” Bailey shared with Essence. She described the project as her first opportunity to portray herself as a fully realized adult. Bailey also emphasized the importance of representing Black love on screen.

“It was so important for me to be a part of a project where I could see myself on-screen, where I could see Black love on-screen,” she stated. “A film where I can see us figuring it out in a joyful way.”

Packer on Emotional Trust

Producer Will Packer highlighted the film’s focus on building trust between the characters. “This movie is very much about learning to trust each other,” Packer explained. “When you’re doing romantic stories, it’s about building an emotional trust with each other, knowing that you can go to places where you are expressing very, very vulnerable things.” He added that the film explores how allowing oneself to be vulnerable can unlock deeper connections.
