During his freshman campaign, Fleming averaged 10.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He quickly earned a starting role and became a key contributor for Georgia Tech.

Fleming recorded a career-high 20 points against Lafayette, shooting 4-of-8 from the field. He finished the season strong, scoring in double figures in each of the final four games, including an 18-point performance against Clemson. He reached double-digit scoring in 18 games overall.
