Charlotte Jørgensen, the professional ballroom dancer famous for her appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" alongside actor John O’Hurley, has confirmed she was involved in a serious plane crash.
The incident occurred recently when Jørgensen was aboard an Air Canada flight bound for LaGuardia Airport in New York City following a weekend trip to Montreal.

Jørgensen shared the news of her survival via an Instagram post exactly one week after the event. She detailed that the aircraft, Air Canada flight 8646, was involved in a collision with a firetruck while on the runway.
She expressed profound gratitude toward the flight crew members who made the ultimate sacrifice during the emergency. Jørgensen stated, "I owe my life to two brave souls Captain Antoine Forest and First Officer Mackenzie Gunther - they made the ultimate sacrifice so that we all could live."

The dancer recounted that while adrenaline masked the experience immediately after the crash, the subsequent days have proven difficult. She noted the recovery process is challenging, stating, "the days after has been tough - physically, mentally and emotionally."

Jørgensen assured her followers that she is currently recuperating and receiving care from her support network. She wrote that she will be taking necessary time away to focus on her healing journey.
