SAN JOSE — A teen boy was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a crash that killed another motorist early Sunday on Curtner Avenue near Highway 87, police said. The deadly collision was reported around 1:05 a. m. According to an initial San Jose police investigation, a 17-year-old boy was driving a 2022 Honda Accord west on Curtner when he hit a 2003 Chevy Malibu turning onto the eastbound lanes from the southbound Highway 87 offramp. Police said the Chevy driver died at the scene. After being treated, police said, the boy was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter, and was booked at county Juvenile Hall.
