She stated, "...not make the obvious connection between their mental health issues leading to their transition and then the tragedy that unfolds," during the March 30, 2026 broadcast.

The conversation began when host Adam Carolla questioned the psychological ramifications of pharmaceutical and hormone treatments associated with transition.

Carolla speculated on the impact of intense hormonal therapy, suggesting it could leave an individual's brain unstable, thereby making violent behavior "much more plausible."

Cole shared her personal history with these medical interventions, noting that the medications caused disorientation and warped her perception of reality.

"Having been on these drugs myself, I know just how disorienting it is … being told that this is going to make you happy and then it just distorting you further and further," Cole explained.

"The bigger picture is that there is a systemic failure on the part of these individuals to be able to figure out their real problems, and then the doctors worsening that," Cole contended.
