Deep Purple Announces 2026 North American Tour with Kansas

The iconic rock band Deep Purple is hitting the road for a summer 2026 tour across North America, with fellow rock veterans Kansas joining them as special guests. The tour will feature performances at theaters, casinos, and amphitheaters from early August through mid-September.

New York Dates and Ticket Information

Deep Purple will perform at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on August 12th. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 3rd at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster.

Fans can also purchase tickets now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats, which offer a 100% buyer guarantee.

Following the '1 More Time Tour'

This tour follows Deep Purple’s successful ‘1 More Time Tour’ in 2024, which supported their 23rd studio album, “=1.” During those shows, the band delivered classic hits like “Smoke On The Water,” “Highway Star,” and “Space Truckin’,” alongside new material such as “Portable Door” and “A Bit On The Side.”

Band Performance and Energy

Despite their years in the industry, Deep Purple continues to deliver energetic performances. Ian Gillan, at 79, maintains a strong vocal presence, while Ian Paice, 76, remains a dynamic drummer. Bassist Roger Glover, 78, continues to bring energy to the stage.

Kansas Joins the Lineup

Kansas, known for hits like “Carry On Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind,” will co-headline select dates. They are also planning their own solo tour and will be performing with The Marshall Tucker Band on other occasions.

Additional Performances

Beyond supporting Deep Purple, Kansas will also perform their own shows featuring hits like “We Built This City” and covers of Jefferson Airplane classics like “Somebody To Love” and “White Rabbit.”

A Summer of Rock Legends

This tour is part of a larger trend of classic rock icons returning to the stage in 2026. Eric Clapton has also announced his 2026 Crossroads Guitar Festival.
