The final episode of Daredevil: Born Again season 1 saw the Punisher controversially choosing to confront Mayor Kingpin’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF) alone. He successfully neutralized several corrupt officers but was ultimately apprehended by the AVTF.

The post-credits scene depicted the Punisher cleverly obtaining a guard’s key to escape Fisk’s illegal prison. Had the Punisher acted similarly, a brutal team-up could have unfolded, with Swordsman’s precision and Frank Castle’s force leaving a significant number of casualties. However, Daredevil and Swordsman deliver a thrilling and dynamic fight scene.
