Boise State Forward Enters Transfer Portal

Senior wing Andrew Meadow will enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from DraftExpress’ Jonathan Givony on Thursday. This announcement marks the fourth player from Boise State to seek opportunities elsewhere.

Meadow's Performance and Background

The 6-foot-7 Meadow started all 32 games for the Broncos last season, averaging 12.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. He demonstrated strong shooting accuracy, connecting on 39% of his three-point attempts and 51% of his overall field goals.

Prior to joining Boise State, Meadow was a highly-regarded recruit out of West Ranch High School in Southern California. He was ranked as the No. 38 overall player in California and the No. 53 power forward nationally by 247Sports, receiving offers from multiple programs including New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV, Washington, and Washington State.

Previous Seasons with the Broncos

Meadow served as a key reserve during his freshman year and became a regular starter in the 2024-25 season, starting 35 games and averaging 12.6 points and 4.2 rebounds. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Impact on the Broncos' Roster

Boise State now faces the challenge of replacing all five starters as the program transitions from the Mountain West Conference to the Pac-12 this summer. Meadow joins teammates Dylan Andrews, Dominic Parolin, and Max Fielder in the transfer portal.

Other Departing Players

  • Dylan Andrews exhausted his eligibility.
  • Dominic Parolin is also out of eligibility.
  • Max Fielder, a 6-foot-11 center, averaged 14.7 points and 5.7 rebounds and is ranked as the No. 30 overall transfer and No. 3 center by 247Sports.
  • Trey Buchanan averaged 12.6 points and 5 rebounds but may need a waiver for another year of eligibility.
  • Camden Keene II made 24 starts last season.

Of Boise State’s top six scorers from last season, only junior-to-be guard Pearson Carmichael remains on the roster. Carmichael has logged 18 starts in his first two years, averaging 7.5 points and 2.9 rebounds. Spencer Ahrens, a 6-foot-10 freshman, could potentially step into a starting role if he returns.
