Emergency services responded to a serious incident at Seattle's Green Lake on Monday afternoon after receiving reports of an individual in the water. The location of the response was near the 7200 block of Green Lake Dr. N.

Crews Arrive and Recover Patient
Fire crews quickly arrived at the scene following the emergency call reporting a person submerged. Personnel worked to pull the individual from the lake.
The recovery operation concluded around 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Despite the efforts, the person was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene by responding personnel.
Investigation Update
Authorities, including the Seattle Police Department (SPD) and the King County Medical Examiner's Office (KCMEO), have been notified of the fatality. As of the latest report, the exact cause of death, such as drowning, remains undetermined.
The identity of the deceased individual has not yet been released to the public.
