‘Bob’s Burgers’ Star Involved in Fiery Crash

Actor Eugene Mirman, best known for his voice work as Gene Belcher on the animated series “Bob’s Burgers,” was identified as the driver injured in a serious crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza in New Hampshire on Tuesday.

Details of the Incident

The crash involved a 2026 Lucid Gravity and occurred on the Everett Turnpike. According to New Hampshire State Police, the vehicle caught fire after impacting the toll booth. 911 calls reported a driver trapped inside the burning vehicle.

Rescue Efforts

Witnesses and first responders quickly worked to extract the driver from the vehicle. A State Trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte’s security detail played a key role in the rescue, along with the Governor and other bystanders who provided assistance.

Mirman’s Condition and Statement

Mirman’s publicist, Sheila Kenny, confirmed the actor’s injuries and stated he is “grateful to be on the mend.” “Eugene was in a very scary car accident,” Kenny said in a statement to NBC10 Boston. “He wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him. He is grateful to be on the mend.”

Kenny also requested privacy for Mirman and his family as he focuses on his recovery. “At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries.”
