A new trailer has been released for Anne Hathaway’s upcoming thriller, Mother Mary, offering a glimpse into the A24 film’s dramatic storyline.

Mother Mary is scheduled to debut in select theaters on April 17th, followed by a wider release on April 24th. The official synopsis reveals the film centers around a pop star confronting past trauma: “Long-buried wounds rise to the surface when iconic pop star Mother Mary reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer Sam Anselm on the eve of her comeback performance.”
