Fraser Allen, a British expat, has fully embraced the lifestyle of living full-time on a luxury cruise liner since December 2024. He has visited various destinations worldwide and has experienced both positive and negative aspects of life at sea.

All-Inclusive Lifestyle

Living full-time on a luxury cruise liner could be the way to go for those who don't want to worry about laundry or cooking. Allen has embraced this lifestyle since moving onto Villa Vie Residences's ship, Odyssey, in December 2024. He has lived on and off the ship since and has visited various destinations worldwide.

Costs and Expenses

The all-inclusive lifestyle costs Allen $125 per day for an inside cabin, which is more affordable than an outside cabin with a window or balcony. However, his additional expenses, such as toothpaste, snacks, clothing, and excursions, tend to range between $1,000 to $2,000 per month.

Funding the Adventure

Allen funds his cruising adventure with a savings pot, pensions, and rental income from his house. He has visited 146 ports so far and has experienced both positive and negative aspects of life at sea.

Best and Worst Ports

Rio, the capital of Brazil, was the worst port for him due to security issues.
