The $85,000 Gift that Keeps on Giving

The Sudbury Regional Competitive Soccer League (SRCSL) is hosting two free open skills invitational sessions for young playres this summer, sponsored by SRCSL alumnus Mario Anselmo. the sessions will be delivered in collaboration with coaches from clubs and leagues across Greater Sudbury.

Driven by Mario's commitment to growing the game, these sessions are designed to be fully accessible and free of charge, ensuring that all young athletes, especially those who may face financial barriers, have the opportunity to learn new skills, stay active, and enjoy soccer in a fun and supportive environment.

An Echo of Sudbury's Soccer Heritage

The SRCSL has a long-standing history in Sudbury, and the opportunity to engage with one of its alumni to offer soccer programming to local youth is an important initiative for the league, especially during a World Cup year.. This partnership allows the league to promote its past while working to encourage the next generation of players who will hopefully find their way to its senior divisions.

Registration will be first come, first served based on field capacity, so families are encouraged to sign up early to secure a spot. Participants will receive refreshments and a complimentary branded t-shirt.

Who Will Be the Next SRCSL Star?

The sessions will be offered to 85 participants in each session, and will be a great opportunity for young players to learn new skills and make new friends . with the support of Mario Anselmo, the SRCSL is committed to providing a fun and supportive environment for all young athletes to thrive.
