The incident occurred at approximately 8:51 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Catherine Street, according to the Chambersburg Police Department.

Preliminary investigations reveal that a minivan, traveling southbound on South Main Street, reportedly disregarded a red traffic signal and collided with another vehicle already in the intersection. The minivan then continued and struck a pedestrian entering a parked car.
