The Legend of Zelda Historical Charms+ collection,as reported by Siliconera, will feature unique Triforce-shaped charms inspird by twelve different entries in the series. These items are designed to function as keyrings or decorative accessories for bags and other everyday belongings.

The collection spans nearly the entire history of the franchise, from its 1986 origins to the modern era. The specific games represented in this lineup include:

  • The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
  • A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening
  • Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask
  • Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons
  • The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild

    • Among these is the 2003 GameCube classic The Wind Waker, a title originally developed by Nintendo EAD that utilized the Havok engine to define a generation of action-adventure gaming.

    Building on Takara Tomy's 2017 keychain collaboration

    This new release marks a return to a successful partnership between the two companies. According to the announcement from Takara Tomy, this is the second time the manufacturer has produced a Zelda-themed charm set. In 2017, the company released a collection of six ball-chain keychains that featured Triforce replicas referencing six different games.

    By expanding the roster from six to twelve games, Takara Tomy is significantly increasing the scope of the collection,offering a more comprehensive retrospective of the series for dedicated collectors.

    A massive 40th-anniversary wave including Nintendo remakes and films

    The charm collection is one piece of a much larger celebration of the franchise's four decades of influence. Nintendo is currently leading a massive wave of anniversary content, including a highly anticipated Ocarina of Time remake and a feature-length movie that is slated for release next year.
