Scarlett Moffatt has spoken out about the controversial behaviour of David Haye during their time on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. She also shared the happy news of her second pregnancy with fiancé Scott Dobinson.
Addressing David Haye's Conduct
In an interview on Good Morning Britain, Moffatt, 35, described her disbelief at some of Haye’s comments. She recalled intervening with phrases like “Right, stop now David” or “you need to apologise.”
Moffatt stated she didn’t believe Haye’s intentions were malicious, but rather a lack of awareness regarding how his words would be received. The discussion centered on Haye’s polarizing remarks, including a comment about a woman having “the personality of a proper ugly bird.”
Controversial Remarks and Resolution
Haye’s comment sparked immediate backlash, with Scarlett expressing her shock on the show itself, stating “You can’t say that, David!” He attempted to clarify, suggesting that women who are less conventionally attractive often develop stronger personalities.
A heated exchange with Adam Thomas also occurred, leading Thomas to seek therapy. Moffatt confirmed that Haye and Thomas have since spoken and resolved their issues. His decision to send Beverley Callard to the Savannah Scrub camp and accusations of ‘fat shaming’ Gemma Collins also contributed to negative perceptions.
Pregnancy Announcement
Beyond the drama surrounding Haye, Moffatt shared personal news, announcing her second pregnancy with fiancé Scott Dobinson. She described the couple as “unbelievably lucky” and expressed excitement about Jude becoming a big brother.
Moffatt previously experienced a miscarriage after the birth of Jude, making this pregnancy particularly poignant. The interview provided a comprehensive look at Moffatt’s experience on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, covering both the challenging dynamics within the camp and her personal life updates.
