Filming for the highly anticipated second series of the BBC’s Celebrity Traitors is underway in Scotland. A host of well-known faces have been spotted arriving in Inverness to begin production.
Star-Studded Cast Arrives in Scotland
Among the first celebrities seen at Inverness Airport were actors Ross Kemp, known for his role in EastEnders, and Julie Hesmondhalgh, famous for her part in Coronation Street. Kemp, 61, appeared in good spirits, while Hesmondhalgh, 56, showcased a stylish look with a red dress and blonde hair.
The Full Lineup Revealed
The complete cast, revealed on Saturday with a teaser trailer, includes Jerry Hall, Richard E. Grant, Michael Sheen, James Blunt, and Romesh Ranganathan. Comedians Rob Beckett, Joe Lycett, Miranda Hart, Joanna McNally, and James Acaster are also participating.
Additional Celebrities Join the Game
Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock, mathematician Hannah Fry, broadcaster Amol Rajan, prankster King Kenny, actress Myha’la, Heartstopper’s Sebastian Croft, and Sharon Rooney of My Mad Fat Diary complete the ensemble. The trailer playfully misspelled some celebrity names, adding to the show’s lighthearted tone.
Maya Jama and the Show's Appeal
Maya Jama, currently hosting Love Island, is also joining the cast. Reports indicate she accepted a pay cut to participate, driven by her enjoyment of the first series and a desire to reach a wider audience.

Celebrity Traitors challenges contestants to identify ‘traitors’ within their group who are secretly working to eliminate other players. The show is set to deliver a compelling mix of strategy, psychological games, and celebrity interactions against the backdrop of Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands. The BBC highlighted the diverse talent involved, including BAFTA and BRIT award winners.
