Comedian Miranda Hart and her husband Richard Fairs have arrived in Scotland to begin filming the second series of 'Celebrity Traitors', marking Hart’s return to television after a five-year health battle.

Return to the Screen

Miranda Hart and Richard Fairs were spotted arriving at Inverness airport on Sunday via private jet, preparing for filming in the Scottish Highlands. Hart, 53, was seen in a casual outfit consisting of an oversized black shirt, cropped blue jeans, and white trainers, completed with sunglasses and a large handbag.

Health Journey

Richard Fairs, 60, a chartered building surveyor, accompanied Hart, dressed in a blue quarter-zip jumper, jeans, and trainers. This appearance is particularly significant as Hart has largely been out of the public eye for the past five years due to a challenging health battle.

Battling Illness

Hart’s 2024 autobiography detailed a three-decade struggle with Lyme Disease and ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). She was initially misdiagnosed with agoraphobia, which led to periods of being bedbound and significantly impacted her quality of life.

Star-Studded Cast

Joining Hart are numerous other celebrities, including Maya Jama, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Ross Kemp, Joanne McNally, Jerry Hall, Richard E Grant, Bella Ramsey, and Amol Rajan, all heading to Ardross Castle.

Full Lineup

The second series boasts a diverse cast, including Michael Sheen, James Blunt, Rob Beckett, Joe Lycett, James Acaster, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Hannah Fry, King Kenny, Myha’la, Sebastian Croft, and Sharon Rooney.

Teaser and Premise

The BBC released a playful teaser trailer featuring intentionally misspelled names on arrival signs – such as ‘Rob Bucket’, ‘Miranda Heart’, and ‘Richardy Grant’. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, 'Celebrity Traitors' involves celebrities attempting to identify the 'traitors' among them, navigating a game of trust and betrayal.
