A horrific crime has shaken the community of Wilmer, Alabama, following the discovery of a quadruple homicide that has left a family devastated and law enforcement searching for answers.
Brutal Discovery on Auble Moody Road
Mobile County Sheriff’s Office investigators were called to a mobile home on Auble Moody Road overnight. Upon arrival, they found the bodies of 46-year-old Lisa Gail Ferguson, her 17-year-old daughter Keziah Lucker, and her 12-year-old son Thomas Cordelle Jr.
Victims and Circumstances
Tragically, Keziah Lucker was several months pregnant, and her unborn child also perished. Sheriff Paul Burch stated the victims were found in separate rooms with their hands bound behind their backs with zip ties.
Evidence Suggests Premeditation
The use of restraints indicates the perpetrators arrived with a specific plan, according to Sheriff Burch. Forensic findings reveal Lisa Ferguson died from a slashed throat, and Keziah Lucker from a gunshot wound to the head.
A Miraculous Survivor
Amidst the tragedy, Keziah’s 18-month-old daughter was found alive and unharmed inside the residence.
Investigation Underway
Investigators found no signs of forced entry, suggesting the victims may have known their attackers. The home was extensively ransacked, indicating the perpetrators were searching for specific items.
Welfare Check Led to Discovery
The father of the 18-month-old, working offshore, raised the alarm after being unable to reach Keziah. He used a mobile tracking application and, observing unusual activity, requested a welfare check due to concerns for her safety and pregnancy.
Prosecution Prepared
The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office, led by Keith Blackwood, is prepared to prosecute the case as multiple counts of capital murder. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately.
