Enzo Bettamio, the accused, arrived in the United Kingdom on Friday following a collaborative operation between the Metropolitan Police and the Crown Prosecution Service. He was formally charged with murder on Saturday, April 20, 2024, and is currently without a fixed address.

Emergency services were alerted to the scene on Stanhope Place at approximately 8:30 am on Monday, April 8, 2024. Paramedics pronounced Ms. Thiamphanit, also known as Angela, dead at the location. A comprehensive investigation was launched immediately.
