Two British tourists are facing serious legal consequences after a violent altercation at a cocktail bar near Magaluf. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of June 22, 2024, has resulted in potential prison sentences of up to 10 years if convicted.
Violent Altercation at Iroko Mallorca
Tommy Colm Witty, 24, and Alexander Lee Anderson, 33, were involved in an attack at Iroko Mallorca in Palmanova, Mallorca. The altercation began after a waitress refused to serve them any more drinks. The violent confrontation left three people with serious injuries.
Legal Consequences and Plea Bargain
The two men were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide. They were later charged with three counts of wounding. Witty, who had been held on remand since the attack, received a two-year prison sentence. Anderson was fined €720 (£620) as part of a plea bargain deal.
