Exploration teams at the Gaspé Copper Project in Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula have identified significant new mineralized zones. Recent drilling results indicate that high-grade copper and silver deposits extend well beyond the current project boundaries.
A 4.74% copper sub-interval in drill hole 30-1228
Drill hole 30-1228 has emerged as a standout discovery, positioned 800 metres west of the current 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). according to the project's latest update, this southeasterly dipping hole traversed the pit wall and threaded through historical underground work at both the B and C Zones.
The results from this specific hole revealed a continuous mineralized interval of 256.5 metres, averaging 0.85% copper and 5.13 g/t silver. Most notably , the drill hit a high-grade sub-interval of 28.5 metres that averaged 4.74% copper and 27.4 g/t silver near the C Zone level . This finding suggests that the mineralization surrounding residual pillars remains highly enriched .
Drilling 660 metres deep near the core processing facility
New drilling near the core processing facility has demonstrated that significant mineralization lies just beyond the current pit limits. Drill hole 30-1224 produced a deep, out-of-pit expansion that reached a vertical depth of 660 metres.
As the report indicates, this fourth interval from hole 30-1224 stretched 153.2 metres with an average grade of 0.20% copper, 0.023% molybdenum, and 1.58 g/t silver. This ability to find ore at depth and outside existing boundaries provides a strong case for the project's long-term expansion potential.
The Needle Mountain and Needle East Mountain expansion
The Needle Mountain pit has also seen significant activity, with drill hole 30-1225 producing three major out-of-pit intervals. One brief 6.0-metre section yielded an exceptionally high grade of 1.19% copper, suggesting possible continuity of mineralization below the current pit floor.

While the hole did record a broad 137.5-metre interval at 0.34% copper, the exact state of the pillar's mineralization remains unverified.
Furthermore, while the company suggests these high-grade intercepts could significantly improve project economics, the full impact on the 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) will not be clear until management provides further updates throughout the fall.
