Zendaya's Packed 2024 Schedule

Get ready for a year dominated by Zendaya! From April's release of “The Drama” to anticipated projects like the third season of “Euphoria” and “Dune: Part Three,” the Emmy-winning actress has a full slate of high-profile roles.

'The Drama' Kicks Off the Zendaya-thon

A Dark Romantic Comedy with Robert Pattinson

Zendaya begins her busy year with A24’s dark romantic comedy, The Drama, co-starring Robert Pattinson. The film centers on a couple, Charlie Thompson and Emma Harwood, played by Pattinson and Zendaya, as they prepare for their wedding. However, cracks begin to appear in their seemingly perfect relationship when Emma reveals a secret.

The film’s release coincides with reports of a marriage between Zendaya and her Spider-Man co-star, Tom Holland. Zendaya playfully referenced this during a recent appearance, embracing a “method dressing” approach on the red carpet with nods to the “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” bridal tradition.

'Euphoria' Season 3: A Long-Awaited Return

Navigating Change and Loss

After a four-year wait, Euphoria returns to HBO for its third and likely final season on April 12th. The new season arrives after a period of challenges for series creator Sam Levinson and amidst personal losses within the show’s family, including the passing of actor Angus Cloud and executive producer Kevin Turen.

The upcoming season sees Zendaya’s Rue Bennett grappling with sobriety in Mexico, seemingly caught between warring drug lords. The season will also feature a large ensemble cast including Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, and new additions like Sharon Stone and Natasha Lyonne.

Blockbuster Projects: 'Spider-Man' & 'Dune'

Reuniting with Co-Stars

Zendaya and Holland will reunite on screen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment in the franchise, premiering July 31st. The film explores Peter Parker’s struggle to reconnect with his friends, MJ and Ned, who no longer remember him.

Following Spider-Man, Zendaya joins the cast of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, adapting Homer’s epic poem. She will portray the Greek goddess Athena alongside Matt Damon as Odysseus, and will once again share the screen with Robert Pattinson.

The year concludes with Dune: Part Three, the final installment in Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel, set to release December 18th. Zendaya reprises her role as Chani, navigating a complex romantic dynamic with Paul Atreides.

Looking Ahead: 'Shrek 5' and Beyond

Despite her busy schedule, Zendaya is already looking towards future projects, including voicing the daughter of Shrek and Fiona in Shrek 5, slated for release in 2027. She expressed a desire to take a break after this year, stating, “I just hope you don’t get sick of me this year because after this I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit.”
